WHAT IS ALBION RUNNING MEMBERSHIP?

Over the years, especially recent years, a number of runners have described the atmosphere at Albion Running races as 'like being part of a family.' During a recent running of the Imber Ultra Dave found himself recognised by runner after runner along the way who had run an Albion race. Up until this point it hadn't seemed like the right time to introduce anything like this but Albion Running have been going for 10 years now and there is a really special atmosphere around the events. Most runners in the South-West have now heard of Ham & Lyme especially so we feel well established enough that those who want to feel more a part of what they have helped to create should have an opportunity to do so. With this in mind we are introducing membership.


HOW DOES IT WORK?

For the price of just £12 per year (£1 per month) you can become an Albion Running member. Remember when you joined a club back in the glory days of the 90s and got a badge and newsletter? That's what you will get for joining this club, but that's not all - you will also have a chance every quarter to win a free race entry in a prize draw (or have the entry fee back for an existing entry if that would work better for you at the time) as well as other spot prizes and will be invited to members only groups on Facebook and Strava where you can have friendly competition, support each other and occasionally get to hear about awesome stuff that's incoming from Albion before it becomes common knowledge!


WHAT DO YOU GET?

For the £12 membership fee you will get the following....

* Your very own Albion Running badge and introductory letter
* A quarterly newsletter with tips from top runners, insights into our races and plenty of other cool info that won't be published anywhere else
* You will be automatically entered into a prize draw each quarter to get a free race entry or an existing entry fee returned
* Invitations to private members-only Facebook and Strava groups where you will be part of a community and will occasionally get some exciting news hot off the press as well as surprise content

* The chance to win other spot prizes as and when they come up

WHAT IF I DON'T WANT TO BE A MEMBER?

That's no worries at all : )  You don't have to be

 

WHAT WILL I NOT GET?
 

* Your own 'members only' aid stations at races with food prepared by a Michelin Star chef
* Your own fenced off areas of trail to run on during races
* The opportunity to look down your nose at non-members no race day.....

.... well it wouldn't be very 'Albion' if you did get those things, would it?

 

 

THE MEMBERSHIP IS A CHANCE FOR THERE TO BE A REAL COMMUNITY AROUND THE ALBION RUNNING EVENTS FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO BE INVOLVED IN IT. A CHANCE FOR THE WONDERFUL SPIRIT WE SEE DURING OUR EVENTS TO HAVE A PLACE TO CONTINUE ALL YEAR ROUND. WE WOULD LOVE FOR SOME OF YOU TO BE A PART OF THAT BUT TOTALLY UNDERSTAND THAT OTHERS WILL JUST WANT TO RUN A RACE OR TWO AND NOT BECOME MEMBERS.
